The search engine giant rolled out Chrome 90 on May 10 this year, packed with new features such as an AV1 encoder, Copy link to highlight, PDF viewer, lite mode, and much more.
However, soon Windows users started complaining that their Chrome 90 has crashed.

"Google Chrome stopped working for me. My extensions crashed and all pages (including Chrome pages like settings) refuse to load. The screen is completely blank, and the tab is simply labeled "Untitled" with a frowning folder next to it," said one user on Reddit.
If you are facing the same issue then Bleeping Computer suggests following these steps to stop this from happening.
Firstly make sure that your Sync data is correct at https://chrome.google.com/sync and passwords to appear at https://passwords.google.com.

Secondly, close any open Chrome instance and then open File Explorer and search: %LOCALAPPDATA%\Google\Chrome\User Data. Remove the "Local State" file from the directory made make sure you have a backup of your files.
Re-Open Chrome to check whether the issue has been resolved. If the issue persists then you open File Explorer and search: %LOCALAPPDATA%\Google\Chrome\User Data and rename the "User Data" folder to some other name and try to re-open Chrome.
