    Title: Aamir Liaquat booked grave at revered saint’s shrine during his lifetime

    Description: The deceased televangelist, Dr Aamir Liaquat Hussain, had booked a grave for himself during his lifetime on the compound of the shrine of revered Sufi saint Abdullah Shah Ghazi in the metropolis. Dr Aamir Liaquat Hussain, who was also a popular TV host and federal lawmaker, passed away at his residence in Karachi on Thursday. “He had booked space for five graves in the graveyard situated on the compound of the Abdullah Shah Ghazi shrine in 2007,” Punnu Khan, the assistant manager and focal person for the shrine, told The Express Tribune. Aamir wished to be buried next to his parents in the same cemetery, according to his will. Punnu Khan said that Aamir sahib used to visit this compound often to offer prayers for those buried here. “He was a very kind and sociable person,” he recalled while talking to The Express Tribune.
