At least six people were killed and eight others injured during a clash over a land dispute in Nawabshah district on Sunday.
The conflict erupted early morning between two factions of the Dahri community - stemming from a disagreement over contracted land within the jurisdiction of Pubho police station.
According to Nawabshah police, the violent confrontation resulted in the deaths of all six individuals from one group, while eight members of the opposing faction sustained injuries and were subsequently hospitalized in Nawabshah.

Authorities assured the public that the situation was now "under control".
Responding to the incident, Sindh Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah directed the Sindh inspector general to furnish a comprehensive report and instructed local law enforcement to restore order in the area.
