Pakistan Reluctant To Buy Russian Oil Fearing American Backlash Claims Imran 17965
Description: Former prime minister and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairperson Imran Khan on Thursday said that the Pakistani government was reluctant to buy oil from Russia as the ‘enslaved’ leaders feared American backlash. Addressing a rally in the Shangla region of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Imran alleged that the 'enslaved' leadership in the Pakistani government could not buy subsidised petrol from Russia because the United Stated did not allow them to do so as “the US and Russia do not have good relations”. “Our government increased the price of petrol by Rs30 per litre, while the Indian government recently reduced the price of petrol by Rs25,” he said, claiming that this highlighted the differences in decision-making between free and enslaved countries. According to Imran, India implemented an independent foreign policy, free of outward influence, and bought oil from Russia at a subsidised rate. He furthered that since the arrival of the new coalition government, all commodities had become more expensive. I am campaigning for the real liberation of this nation,” he maintained. ECP’s ‘conspiracy’ The former premier alleged that a conspiracy was being hatched with the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) to destroy the mandate of the people in the next elections. “They are conspiring with the support of the election commission to rig the next elections and trying to ruin democracy in the country,” he said. Imran deplored that the current PML-N government was focused on ruining state institutions including the police. The PTI chief also vowed to keep holding rallies until the current government announced elections and that he would stay in K-P for another two days to prep his followers for the continuation of PTI’s ‘Azaadi March’. "I am strengthening all my organisations and planning everything," he said. https://www.facebook.com/ImranKhanOfficial/videos/430294365237553
