From Maula Jatt To Aamir Liaquat What Pakistanis Searched On Google In 2022 26397
Description: 2022 has almost transitioned back to the good ol' normal before Covid had put a pause on our lives. With an abundance of good news and a fair share of bad news, it’s interesting to look back and see what garnered our attention the most, adding what we genuinely wanted to read, learn and watch. According to Google Search Trends in Pakistan, here’s a list of what and who people in the country were mostly interested in. From Aamir Liaquat to Amber Heard and Maula Jatt to London Nahi Jaunga, here's what dominated our screens all year long. For movies and TV shows, Bilal Lashari's directorial topped the list in the country with Iman Vellani's Ms. Marvel, the first Marvel show to feature a Pakistani-American superhero, coming in second. The list also included Black Adam, Thor Love and Thunder, Doctor Strange, London Nahi Jaunga, The Batman, Quaid-e-Azam Zindabad, Sinf e Aahan and House of the Dragon in the same order. It’s very interesting to see that the local audiences, while being pumped about the international films, also gave a chance to local filmmakers and tv shows and loved them. Coming on to the people trending in Pakistan, the list included the late host and televangelist Aamir Liaquat and the late Queen Elizabeth. The news of the duo passing away could have been a defining factor in the results. Many condemned their deaths while others started discussions on the role they played while being alive. Other popular people on the list were actor Amber Heard and author Salman Rushdie. The former battled a case of abuse and defamation against the Pirates of the Caribbean actor Johnny Depp.
