Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan has dismissed speculations of a clandestine agreement behind the potential release of former prime minister and PTI founder Imran Khan.
Addressing the media after a meeting with Imran Khan at Adiala Jail in Rawalpindi on Tuesday, Gohar expressed his hope for Imran Khan's release in April, trusting the judiciary to act fairly.
Accompanied by Sher Afzal Marwat and other PTI leaders, Gohar asserted the weakness of the cases against Imran Khan.

The PTI chairman further revealed that Imran Khan had entrusted him and Omar Ayub Khan with the task of mobilising the party in Punjab, while Marwat was assigned to lead rallies in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa.
He criticised the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), alleging the overturning of their candidates' victories in the February 8 general elections.

Expressing frustration, Marwat highlighted the impediment posed by a glass partition during their meeting with Khan, limiting their conversation. He noted the presence of surveillance equipment in the jail, indicating their meeting was being recorded.

“I have made it clear to Imran Khan that I have no quarrel with anyone within the party,” he remarked.
During the discussion, Khan, both PTI leaders said, unequivocally condemned the Bahawalnagar incident.
They echoed Imran Khan's stance on the need for equal application of the law throughout Pakistan, stressing the nation's inability to sustain disparate legal standards.
