Amjad stressed that there is nothing inappropriate about the outfit, noting that such attire is completely normal for sports-related settings.
The controversy erupted on social media, with critics on platforms calling Fahad’s shorts “disrespectful” and highlighting his “exposed chicken legs,” particularly during Ramzan.
Many argued that public figures should maintain a higher level of decorum during media appearances.
Addressing the backlash, Aadi Adeal Amjad clarified that the event took place in a sports stadium, making shorts entirely appropriate.
“This was a sports night, not a religious gathering,” he remarked. “People are overreacting there is nothing indecent about his shirt or shorts. Let’s not exaggerate.”
Fahad Mustafa also responded confidently, emphasizing that “talent matters more than clothing.”
He explained that his choice of attire was a personal style preference suited to the environment, not a matter of disrespect or arrogance.
