The clip, shared by entertainment portal Galaxy, captured Atif performing passionately as a bottle-like object came flying his way.
Despite the unexpected situation, the singer neither flinched nor reacted instead, he continued performing with his usual calm and confidence.
“Atif Aslam didn’t flinch when a bottle came flying his way during a concert, stayed composed and continued performing without reacting,” Galaxy captioned the video, adding emojis portraying him as a “king” for handling the situation so gracefully.
The video quickly spread across social media, drawing a wave of mixed reactions. While some fans believed the item was a mobile cover tossed toward the singer for an autograph, others condemned the act, calling it disrespectful and dangerous.
“It was a phone cover for autograph,” one user commented. Another fan, however, disagreed, calling the incident “unacceptable” and “regrettable.”
One comment read: “Such people must be arrested on the spot and fined — artists deserve respect.”
Some users also criticized Galaxy for sharing the clip with misleading assumptions. “Galaxy delete it right away because it’s just a phone cover.
If a few comments hadn’t mentioned it, you would’ve kept spreading it like others. No one bothered to verify before commenting, just because of your wrong caption,” a user wrote.
Meanwhile, another commentator highlighted a troubling trend, saying: “Somehow I feel like we’ve normalized this. When bottles are thrown at Talha Anjum, people act like it’s nothing. Now, some ignorant people think it’s cool to do the same to singers like Atif.
We really shouldn’t normalize this — whether it’s Talha or Atif, all artists deserve respect.”
