In a reel shared on his social media account, he said that he was invited by a newly opened Pakistani restaurant, Paratha Stop, in Blackburn, London, to perform and cut the ribbon.
He was then asked by the owners, whom he referred to as Faiz and Erum, to take pictures with their security staff.
In a while, two masked men came and smashed eggs on his head, with one of them also smacking his head, while he was getting recorded by the restaurant’s staff.
Chahat said in a reel that he had asked the owners for the videos of that incident so he could complain to a local police station; however, the owners denied having any footage at the time.
But as the video has now emerged on social media, which shows that Chahat Fateh Ali Khan was taking pictures with the restaurant’s security staff, and also being recorded by them, he has now decided to file a complaint as he has got the evidence.
He blamed the restaurant’s owner for perpetrating this egging and denying the footage to him.
Chahat said the restaurant’s management lied to him, and now he has threatened legal action against them for shutting down their business.
