The pair, who tied the knot in a private ceremony in February 2025 attended by close friends and family, confirmed the news of their separation on Tuesday.
Taking to his Instagram Stories, Sauban wrote that he and Abeer had mutually agreed to part ways.
“The divorce is still in process, but we’ve made our decision,” he shared, adding: “I wish her nothing but the best.”
The award-winning couple had once delighted fans by posting vibrant wedding pictures on social media.
In the photos, Abeer looked elegant in a gold and pink traditional outfit a delicately embroidered frock paired with fitted trousers, a matching dupatta, and khussas.
She opted for a minimalist bridal style with no heavy makeup, loose hair, and simple jewellery featuring a tikka and floral gajras, a look that won admiration online.
Sauban, on the other hand, looked dapper in an ivory sherwani complemented by a matching shawl and traditional footwear.
They captioned their nikkah photos with the heartfelt message: "Allah is the best planner, 01-02-2025."
The couple received an outpouring of love from fans and celebrities alike.
Actress Ayeza Khan commented, "Abeer and Sauban! I'm so happy for both of you! Congratulations." Fellow model Sadaf Kanwal added, "Mashallah, Mubarak hooo."
