Taking to Instagram, the acclaimed actress reflected on her one-year journey as UNICEF Pakistan’s National Ambassador for Child Rights and Girls’ Empowerment, a position she took on exactly a year ago.
“Exactly one year ago, on this special day, I embraced a role that holds immense meaning for me becoming the National Ambassador for Child Rights and Girls’ Empowerment,” she wrote in her post.
The post was accompanied by a series of touching photos showing Saba engaging with underprivileged girls during UNICEF field visits smiling, taking selfies, and sharing warm conversations that reflected her empathy and commitment.
“Over the past year, I’ve met so many inspiring young girls whose courage, confidence, and dreams strengthen my belief that education and opportunity are every girl’s right not a privilege,” she added.
Saba’s message quickly gained attention on social media, where fans and celebrities alike praised her compassion and her efforts to use her influence for positive social change.
The actress, who has long been admired for portraying strong and independent women on screen, continues to echo the same message through her humanitarian efforts.
“On this special day, I want every girl to know that her dreams, voice, and future matter,” she stressed. “Let’s keep working together for a world where every girl can learn, lead, and live freely.”
Saba Qamar has previously been vocal about the need to challenge stereotypes and systemic barriers that hold girls back in Pakistan.
Her partnership with UNICEF has involved raising awareness about child marriage, gender inequality, and the right to quality education for all children.
