Thousands of fans gathered to see the icon perform, and many had to remain outside after the venue reached full capacity.
The audience erupted in applause as soon as Sajjad Ali stepped on stage.
He mesmerised the crowd with his evergreen hits, including Har Zulm Tera Yaad Hai, Yaad To Aati Hogi, Ravi, Mahiwal, and Dheere Dheere Aa Badal.
Responding to the crowd’s enthusiasm, he also performed fan favourites Chief Saab and Cinderella, taking the energy even higher.
Addressing the audience, Sajjad Ali said, “I am Pakistani, I love Pakistan, and this country has given me respect.”
Reflecting on early feedback about his music, he added, “People once told me some of my songs didn’t match trends, but an artist creates trends, not follows them.”
Considered one of Pakistan’s most celebrated singers, composers, and songwriters, Sajjad Ali has been cherished since the 1980s for blending classical depth with modern pop.
His music continues to captivate listeners across generations.
The World Culture Festival will continue at the Arts Council of Pakistan Karachi until December 7.
