Taking it to social media, the Paristaan actor revealed that she visited Aliza's house and expressed solidarity with the victim’s family. She shared that the allegations of abuse put against Feroze are "extremely serious" and should be taken in the same way by the public.
Mira started her Tweet by writing, "I met Aliza Sultan and her family." She then requested the masses to deal with sensitive cases more sternly. "The allegations are quite serious and people should take them seriously,” Mira added.
The Ye Dil Mera actor also penned a statement on behalf of Aliza's father. Focusing on Feroze's body, the latter questioned whether Feroze bulked up his body just to harm his daughter. Mira noted, "Her father said, 'I am surprised at him. He builds a body in the gym but for what? To hit my daughter?"

Prior to this, actor Iqra Aziz also retracted her project involving Feroze, to show her support for Aliza. Other actors such as Yasir Hussain and Zara Noor Abbas have also issued statements online siding with the Khaani actor's ex-wife. Currently, Feroze has 'vehemently' denied all the accusations against him and intends to take legal action.
