US Violating Ceasefire Terms As Israeli Strikes Escalate Ghalibaf 76543
    Description:

Addressing parliament in Tehran, Ghalibaf warned that the diplomatic arrangements holding the regional truce together were fraying due to Washington’s failure to rein in its primary ally and lift crippling maritime restrictions, according to Al Jazeera.

The remarks mark the most serious challenge to the fragile regional detente since the cross-border understandings were inked.

    ‘The bill comes due’

“The bill comes due,” Ghalibaf said, stressing that Tehran’s strategic patience was running thin. He argued that while Iran had abided by its commitments to de-escalate regional friction, the US had failed to reciprocate, effectively hollowed out the agreement from within.

According to Tehran, the persistent blockade of key Iranian commercial ports violates the core economic guarantees promised under the ceasefire framework.

Iranian state media reported that the restrictions continue to choke vital trade routes, which the speaker characterized as a “deliberate act of economic warfare” disguised as oversight.

    Lebanese theatre under fire

Compounding the maritime dispute is the worsening situation in Beirut and southern Lebanon. Ghalibaf heavily penalised Washington for providing diplomatic cover and military hardware to Israel, which has launched a series of escalating airstrikes against Lebanese targets over the weekend.

Observers note that Tehran views the assault on Lebanon as a direct breach of the broader regional stability pact. With diplomatic channels showing signs of severe strain, analysts fear that a collapse of the understanding could trigger a renewed wave of proxy conflicts across the Middle East, leaving the fragile peace hanging by a thread.
