According to details surfaced on Thursday, the former foreign minister was in Davos, where he met the prime minister and the CDF on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum (WEF).
The meeting covered national and international matters, with particular focus on steps to improve Pakistan’s economic conditions.
Earlier on Wednesday, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said Pakistan had come out of difficult conditions and was close to economic stability.
Addressing a breakfast gathering at the Pakistan Pavilion in Davos, the prime minister said the policy rate had fallen from 22.5 per cent to 10.5 per cent, while joint and sustained efforts continued to improve social indicators.
