Mohsin Naqvi Announces Plots For FIA Martyrs Pledges Anticorruption Drive 76215
    Description:

Speaking at a ceremony in Islamabad, where newly appointed assistant directors, inspectors and officers were addressed, Mohsin Naqvi warned that there would be zero tolerance for corruption.

The interior minister warned that any officer found involved in corrupt practices would face severe consequences, stressing that accountability would be strictly enforced.

Naqvi assured FIA officers that merit and performance would be prioritised, adding that hard-working officers would no longer remain stuck in the same positions for years without promotion.

Interior Minister Naqvi added that it was the right of dedicated officers to advance in their careers.

He pledged to safeguard the rights of personnel, urging officers in return to commit to integrity and avoid any involvement in corruption.

He emphasised that reforms were under way to modernise the agency, with a target to transform it into a fully updated institution by 31 December 2026.

He noted that the prime minister is committed to improving the agency, highlighting its crucial role in preventing crime.

The minister added that facilities across FIA offices had already been improved as part of ongoing reforms.

Director General FIA Usman Anwar also addressed the gathering, stating that efforts were being made to further strengthen the organisation and ensure that merit remains the basis for all appointments and decisions.
