The meeting took place at the Saudi Ministry of Interior headquarters, where Prince Abdulaziz formally received Minister Naqvi.
During the talks, both sides explored ways to enhance security collaboration, with a particular focus on strengthening joint efforts to combat drug smuggling.
Broader security issues were also discussed, emphasizing the importance of reinforcing cooperation within the strategic framework governing Pakistan-Saudi relations.
The ministers reaffirmed their commitment to deepening collaboration in security and counter-narcotics initiatives and discussed a range of issues of mutual interest.
The meeting was attended by Saudi Deputy Interior Minister Dr. Abdulaziz bin Mohammed bin Ayyaf, Assistant Interior Minister Dr. Hisham bin Abdulrahman Al-Falih, adviser to the minister Lieutenant General Suleiman bin Abdulaziz Al-Yahya, Saudi Ambassador to Pakistan Nawaf bin Saeed Al-Malki, and senior officials from the Ministry of Interior.
Pakistan’s Ambassador in Riyadh, Ahmed Farooq, and the Interior Ministry and Anti-Narcotics Division official Muhammad Khurram Agha were also present in the meeting.
