During the meeting, both sides discussed bilateral relations in detail and agreed to further enhance defense and security collaboration.
Emphasis was placed on strengthening military-to-military engagement, joint training initiatives, and strategic partnerships.
The two countries also reaffirmed their commitment to promoting regional peace and stability.
Dr. Abdelatty conveyed warm regards from the Egyptian leadership to Field Marshal Munir and expressed Cairo’s interest in expanding cooperation with Pakistan across various sectors.
ISPR stated that the meeting included discussions on the evolving regional security environment and reiterated both nations’ resolve to take Pakistan–Egypt defense relations to a new level.
Dr. Abdelatty also expressed hope that Pakistan would contribute expertise and resources to support the reconstruction of Gaza.
Speaking at a joint press conference with Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, he said Egypt looks forward to Pakistan’s participation in the upcoming international conference on Gaza’s early recovery and reconstruction.
Ishaq Dar said that both countries viewed and assessed the regional developments as of now with particular focus on the grave situation in Gaza.
