Pakistan Security Forces Eliminate 15 Indiansupported Militants In KP Operations 74424
    Description:

According to the military’s media wing, the operations were conducted between November 8 and 9 targeting India-supported militants.

“Acting on intelligence about the presence of Khawarij, security forces carried out an operation in the Kulachi area of Dera Ismail Khan district,” the ISPR said. During the operation, 10 terrorists, including the group’s ringleader Alam Mehsud, were killed.

In a separate intelligence-based operation in the Datta Khel area of North Waziristan district, five more terrorists were successfully neutralized.

The ISPR added that sanitization operations are ongoing to eliminate any remaining Indian-backed militants in the region.

“The relentless counter-terrorism campaign under Vision ‘Azm-e-Istehkam,’ as approved by the Federal Apex Committee on the National Action Plan, will continue at full pace to eradicate foreign-sponsored terrorism from Pakistan,” the statement said.

Separately, a suicide bomber detonated himself near a police station in Bannu, killing only himself, police reported.

The explosion occurred near Do Ghora Bridge, a few steps from Basia Khel police station, involving a motorcyclist who triggered the device, according to Bannu Police.

A motorcycle and the body of the attacker were found at the scene.

A heavy contingent of law enforcement reached the site immediately and cordoned off the area as an investigation has been launched into the explosion.

The explosion follows a suicide blast at Islamabad's Judicial Complex on November 11 that left 12 people martyred and at least 36 wounded, including lawyers and petitioners.

The federal government had arrested four members of a Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan/Fitna al-Khawarij (TTP/FAK) cell linked to the suicide attack at the Islamabad District Judicial Complex, G-11.
