Description: Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry has taken a jibe at the scions of Bhutto and Sharif families, saying that PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and PML-N Vice President Maryam Nawaz were “political infants” incapable of ruling the country. “Both [Bilawal and Maryam] do not have political stature to lead the country… Bilawal should first contest election of Karachi’s mayor and likewise Maryam needs to run for Lahore’s mayor,” he said while addressing the media in Punjab’s Jhelum on Saturday. #Live: Info Minister @fawadchaudhry talking to media in Jhelum https://t.co/2IJHPgViJ4 — Radio Pakistan (@RadioPakistan) January 29, 2022 The information minister was of the view that the alliance of all opposition parties of the country could not politically defeat Prime Minister Imran Khan. “All opposition parties including PPP, PML-N, JUI-F and others faced defeat in Senate yesterday where they had a majority,” said Fawad while referring to the passage of SBP bill in opposition-dominated upper house of the parliament. “This is a great country and those who are presenting themselves to lead the country are dwarfs,” he remarked. He also urged Bilawal and Maryam to first work as common political worker in their own party ranks and let the other senior leaders to lead. “We have a democracy and monarchy, so they both [Maryam and Bilawal] should vacate their positions for the senior leadership,” he added. “I am happy to know that the debate has started in PML-N that Sharif family should be replaced and other leaders should be given a chance to lead the party,” the minister remarked.
