Speaking at a press conference in Sialkot on Saturday, Asif alleged that during his tenure, the former premier carried out political victimisation in coordination with the now-convicted ex-ISI chief, Lt Gen (retd) Faiz Hamid.
"All the victmisation was carried out through Faiz who would reportedly threaten Imran's political rivals. Faiz played a dangerous game with the country, benefiting both himself and Imran,” the defence minister asserted.
