Addressing a session of the Balochistan Assembly, the chief minister strongly condemned the recent incidents of terrorism in the province and expressed full solidarity with the families of the martyrs.
He emphasized that peace and development remain the top priorities of the provincial government. Bugti said that “foreign-backed terrorists have no connection with any religion” and reiterated that decisive steps are being taken to restore peace across the province.
The chief minister stated that the sacrifices of security forces and civilians in the fight against terrorism will not go in vain. He added that while the government has never refused political dialogue, strict action will continue against those targeting innocent citizens and security personnel.
Bugti further said that terrorist elements are attempting to sabotage peace in Balochistan, but the government will not spare them and will ensure that the writ of the state is maintained at all costs.
