OpenAI introduced the personalization feature in Chat GPT in November 2025, through which users can get answers in the way they want. This feature is also available for free users.
What is the personality feature?
This feature does not change the basic functions of Chat GPT, but only changes the way it responds. That is, the information remains the same, but the style changes.
Currently, 7 personalities are available:
Professional
Friendly
Candid
Efficient
Quirky
Nerdy
Cynical
How to use the feature?
Go to Chat GPT settings.
Click on the “Personalization” option.
Choose your favorite personality.
Users can also give each personality their own instructions. For example, if a question requires two different answers, different personalities can be selected to get answers in different ways.
This feature is especially useful for users who want to get information in different tones and styles for their work, education or entertainment.
