As of now, the company has not received any reports of crashes in the given models. However, it received some complaints about the lights not illuminating. Thus, the update is required to avoid any potential collisions. The vehicle owners will be notified by a letter, which will be sent from January 14, 2023. The vehicles that are in production have already received the update.  Previously, Tesla had recalled its cars for not being able to inflate the airbag correctly and power steering assist.
